My personal value proposition

My role within Flow Assurance has been to optimize recovery and enhance production over the life of the field through the application of suitable strategies and philosophies to prevent solid deposition and operational constraints.  Key strategies, which are consistently applied in each assessment are:

• Understanding of PVT behavior of the fluid(s);
• Identifying the various modes of operation and the conditions they impose on the production system; and
• Applying suitable strategies or philosophies to prevent solid deposition and undesirable shutdowns, and therefore, maintaining flow throughout the production cycle.

I have strengths in a number of key attributes including communication, decision making, team-building and problem solving.

Daniel has over 25 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry supporting projects in the North Sea, West Africa, South America, Western Australia, Northern Russia and the Gulf of Mexico for shallow and deepwater subsea developments as well as land based pipelines and production networks. He has been involved in a large number of successful projects from the conceptual stage to detailed design, including the troubleshooting of live production systems.

His expertise in Flow Assurance has been enhanced by his roles as a subsea/systems engineer, being involved in the design and delivery of trees, flowlines/pipelines, umbilical and control systems, subsea hardware and topside chemical injection systems, as well as lift gas and water injection systems.  He has served in key roles during Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning phases of numerous projects.  Daniel also has offshore experience in installation, IMR, commissioning and well unloads/start-up.  He has also supported active, day to day operations on producing assets.
